This is the sweetest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

When it comes to objectification, this is a great example of “false equivalent.”

SAIL

I PRESSED PLAY JUST AS I WAS TAKING A DRINK AND DIET COKE JUST SHOT OUT MY NOSE. I FEEL LIKE I JUST VOMITED

there are so many layers of humor to appreciate here

the disruption of pleasant relaxing music

the word “sail” being yelled slightly off-beat as if the person filming was planning this and got a little eager

the small child’s laughter in the background

the pianist whispering “shit” to himself as if he only dropped an m&m or something

the foot appearing seemingly out of nowhere

the dedicated pianist falling down with his piano

it’s all so beautiful

Little Girls Are Better At Designing Superheroes Than You is a project where superheroes are drawn based on the costumes of young girls.

This is Shooting Star! With her corkscrew pigtails and her Chucks of justice, she flits through the night shooting stars to turn darkness into light.

Drawn by yours truly, Alex Law ;)

have you tried mypaint?

  • its free
  • its open source
  • works for windows, linux and mac
  • 90% of the window space is where you draw, no clunky and messed up menus
  • performance-wise
  • supports layers
  • the canvas is basically unlimited, the program automatically chooses a dimension for your picture when you save
  • easy (but not too limited) brush creation
  • overall fucking awesome
